Specifically, Logo, A&E, History, FYI, Lifetime, Magnolia (DIY), Cooking, Science, AHC, Destination, and Discovery Life are channels that aren't available through YouTube TV, so that's a plus that I can now add them through the Spectrum TV Essentials package. Personally, I’d happily pay a few more dollars for 40+ extra channels. So Spectrum TV choice channels are a bit of a mixed bag. I guess if you want some really obscure channel which is typically buried in a higher package, maybe it makes sense. The good news is that Spectrum stacked your options so you get to choose from the most popular cable channels out there like ESPN, Disney Channel, and MSNBC. For 35 you can get 50-60 channels on Vue, DTVN or YouTube, with a DVR. This is a decent number of good TVE channels for the price, but lacks some of my favorites, so I'll be keeping it to supplement my YouTube TV rather than replacing it. 10 channels for 25.up to 35 after introductory pricing.
